“My mother has carefully archived our annual family Christmas pictures. Open the album cover – the first image is from 1969, my older sister is a brand new baby held by my parents. Keep flipping and you’ll see our family transform over 38 years! Until the last picture, 12 of us – my parents, siblings, their spouses and the next generation all together at a family wedding. But, if my mother is nearby, she will surely say some version of the following, “Those pictures are a prized possession but, in all those years, we’ve never taken a picture without someone shedding tears!” And, she’s right, it’s true. Somehow the portrait-making process always caused enough frustration that one of us broke down. When I became a mom I knew two things: I would continue the tradition of an annual family Christmas portrait, and, I would try my hardest to make it an experience that was not tear-provoking – maybe even fun??? Having Erin shoot our pictures has been the answer. First, let me say, the images that Erin creates are stunning. Her focus on simplicity allows personality to shine through. She has a knack for capturing the right moment, expression, emotion – especially with children. I always get rave reviews on our photo cards! Even more, Erin is unfailingly pleasant to work with: on time, organized, and always serene. She’s quick but thorough. Being a mom herself, she gets it – that it can be tough coaxing synchronous smiles a whole family – she’s unflappable and she gets her shot. Thank you, Erin, for helping me capture my family through the years without a single tear shed!”

“I cannot express enough how elated we are at the job Erin has done photographing our wedding on April 18, 2009. Anyone can push a shutter release button on a camera, but Erin is a true artist and the camera is her tool. This sets her apart from all others! I can honestly say that anyone that employs Erin for their photography needs will not be sorry that they did. She is a special talent with her camera and that is nearly impossible to find. You’ve found her now… do the smart thing and have Erin be your photographer.”

“Erin was so easy to work with and we would definitely go with her again. I like that she was open to our ideas about what we wanted from our family picture but she also made excellent suggestions too. During the photo session she immediately made our five year old daughter feel at ease and as a result the pictures of her are stunning. I felt that Erin really captured who she is. It’s a wonderful way to freeze frame such a special age of childhood and I’ll treasure the photos always.”

“ELP is the best! Erin does a wonderful job capturing your most memorable and precious moments. She has done a pregnancy shoot with my husband and I and then did a shoot of our little one three months after she was born. I must say that the pictures Erin took are ones that our family will treasure forever! They are timeless. We can’t thank her enough!”

“Erin took my baby’s first professional pictures. She has a calming influence which enabled my son to relax and take natural, beautiful pictures. When I first saw the photos, I was blown away. Each and every picture captured his personality differently. The color and clarity of the photos were fantastic. I cannot wait to use Erin again as my little guy grows.”

“Every time we work with Erin, I am amazed at the photos she is able to capture. She has been able to provide us with precious family photos, beautiful creative shots, and has even captured our son’s fun (and wild!) personality in a single photo. Erin is extremely talented and patient—she makes the entire process from start to finish so easy. Thank you, Erin, for all of your hard work, understanding, and for providing us with such wonderful keepsakes. We look forward to working with you in the future!”
