March 30, 2010I had the wonderful opportunity to do some work that is a bit out of my “forte”.. and, it turned out to be a lot of fun! A local European Designer approached me to photograph some of his work for his website. I not only enjoyed taking the photos but, I got to see some truly beautiful craftsmanship and design. His work was amazing! The details… the minimalistic approach to beauty… the modern upgrades.. they were breathtaking! Enjoy this little sneak peak. The photos are panoramic to fit with the design of his website. If you are in need of an amazing local designer and/or remodeling company, you have to check out his site : Euro Design Remodel
Kara Layfield: They must be thrilled! Thest are amazing! Love his designs.
i just happen to have this image on the previous post and, moved it up b/c it was so fitting! this week over at i heart faces, the topic is “focusing on angles”… i thought this was fitting. i hope everyone is enjoying the wonderful spring weather! wishing it wasn’t raining… i may have to cancel this afternoons photo shoot and that is NEVER a fun thing! ugh.

man! we have about 4 feet of snow in our front yard! 4 feet! i’m not exaggerating at all. it’s been wild to witness such a sight. i have some photos of the girls playing out in the snow.. enjoying it in all it’s beauty and wonderful-ness! haha! i’m laughing at my made up word AND the fact that it lost a little of that wonderful-ness when we had to shovel for 2 days straight. ugh. i wish i was a kid again… wouldn’t that be nice. enjoy!

kararl: WOW!! These are so precious!! I love the last of M and the one of K looking out the window. Looks like fun to me!!

January 20, 2010this is a first for me! i’m taking part in a photo challenge over at the ‘i heart faces’ blog. i have the perfect photo for this topic.. it’s the first picture that came to mind when i saw that the topic had to do with family. i love this photo… it’s clear that this “blended” family has serious love for their youngest sibling/daughter… all i had to say was tickle “b” and, all hands went to her and, everyone’s face lit up with a HUGE smile! I was happy to capture that moment! i love all the photos from that session but, especially love this one. enjoy!

Nichole: Aw! I love it! You can feel the love and happiness! And her expression is just precious!

January 18, 2010just a little fun on this thursday afternoon…

Hello Everyone!! Happy New Year to you all!! I can finally share the girls Holiday photos. I was unable to share them up to this point because enlargements were given as gifts to the grandparents… now that the holidays are over, I can share them here
yay!
I hope that you all had a very Happy Holiday and a very lovely New Years Eve celebration. I wish you all a very Happy 2010! To celebrate the new year, i’d like to host a contest for all people residing in Sussex and Kent Counties in Delaware AND, anyone located within 20 miles of Ocean City, Maryland. How it works is like this.. all you have to do is leave a comment on this post and, i’ll write up all the names on paper and pick them the old fashioned way.. out of a hat. Well, i’ll probably let my girls pick the names (i’ll post a little photo of them doing it when i name the winner). The contest runs until January 31st. Please tell all your friends and relatives that live in the area. I’ll post the winner on February 1st!! OH! I can’t forget.. haha. The winner will receive a 1 hour photo shoot and, a disc of as many images that I edit (usually 20-40)… the photo shoot must take place in 2010! Post away!
(If you have any trouble leaving a comment, just write me at erin@erinleighphoto.com and, I’ll either add your comment or just add you to the list for the drawing.. thanks!)
